According to CNBC, David Tepper's Appaloosa Management increased its Amazon stake by more than 15% in the second quarter to nearly $1.2 billion, kept Amazon as its largest holding, and raised its Meta Platforms position by almost 55% to about $380 million. The fund also added nearly 7% to its Alphabet stake, bringing it to more than $661 million, and opened a new Apple position worth more than $241 million. Appaloosa cut its Micron Technology stake by more than 41% even as it remained its second-largest holding at around $1.125 billion, and Tepper also eliminated a position in Sandisk worth more than $400 million. Outside technology, he opened positions in Boeing and American Airlines worth about $173 million and $136 million, respectively, while selling stakes in Corning, L3Harris and RTX.
