The DUSK Number I Can’t Ignore
I went into DUSK looking at the security scorecard, expecting the institutional-grade narrative to be backed by equally strong security metrics.
Instead, one number stopped me.
0% bug bounty.
The CER scorecard shows DUSK at 29% overall, with 30% audit coverage and 0% insurance alongside that 0% bug bounty.
I’m not saying DUSK is unsafe. That would be a huge leap.
But I am asking a harder question:
If DUSK wants to become infrastructure for regulated finance, custodians, tokenized securities and institutional capital, where is the security maturity that institutions will demand?
MiCA compliance can build confidence.
Institutional partnerships can build confidence.
A strong RWA narrative can build confidence.
But when real capital arrives, nobody wants confidence alone. They want evidence, redundancy, insurance, incentives for researchers to attack the system, and a security process that keeps getting stronger.
That’s why the 0% caught my attention more than the $DUSK price.
The interesting story isn’t whether DUSK can pump.
It’s whether the security stack can mature fast enough to support the institutional future it is promising.
The narrative is already big. Now I’m watching the numbers.
