#dusk $DUSK @Dusk The real bottleneck isn’t privacy, it’s control
I’ve been watching $DUSK for a while and most people still treat it like just another privacy chain. That’s not what’s interesting.
What actually stands out is how the contracts work with regulated assets. You can keep balances, who owns what, and the transfer rules completely hidden from the public, but still let the right people pull the exact proofs they need for audits or compliance. Eligibility checks, restrictions, payments, settlement — all enforceable without putting sensitive data on full display.
Public chains basically force institutions to choose between leaking position sizes or staying off-chain. Neither option works for them. When privacy and the actual rules live in the same contract layer, that whole friction starts to disappear.
Still needs real volume to prove it, but the design is solving a problem most RWA projects keep dancing around.
What’s actually stopping institutions from using public chains for securities ?
