WHY DUSK PRIVACY COULD MATTER FOR THE FUTURE OF ONCHAIN FINANCE

I’ve been digging deeper into DUSK lately and the sensitive data problem is probably one of the parts I find most interesting

Crypto likes transparency but financial markets can’t operate by putting every private detail on display Imagine going to a bank and being asked to publish your full account history just to prove you’re eligible for a loan That sounds ridiculous yet public blockchains can create a similar issue

What I like about DUSK is the idea of proving what needs to be proven while keeping unnecessary financial information private For regulated assets identity checks and trading activity that could be a pretty important difference DUSK seems to approach this problem in a way that could make private financial activity more practical

Still I’m not ready to call it a solved problem Privacy technology only matters if developers can actually use it without making applications harder or less liquid Institutions also have to trust the infrastructure compliance process and execution

That’s why I’m watching real usage more than technical claims If liquidity starts moving and useful financial products appear the privacy design behind dusk becomes much more meaningful

Do you think private verification will become a basic requirement for serious onchain finance or will liquidity always come first
