#dusk $DUSK I’ve been watching DUSK, and what keeps catching my attention is the gap between its long-term vision and the economic activity I can actually see today.

DUSK is building around privacy for financial applications, confidential smart contracts, XSC, and regulated markets. I find that interesting because financial infrastructure needs privacy without completely sacrificing auditability.

But when I look at the token, market cap, trading activity, and network usage, I keep asking myself how much of the current valuation comes from real demand and how much comes from expectations.

NPEX, DuskEVM, staking, token supply, and emissions could all become important pieces of the ecosystem. But eventually, I want to see those pieces translate into actual users, transactions, liquidity, and sustainable on-chain economic activity.

That’s the part I’m watching most closely.

I’m not convinced yet that DUSK’s value is fully supported by current usage, but I also don’t think the story should be dismissed while adoption is still developing.

Maybe the gap closes as the ecosystem grows.

For now, I’m watching that gap between the vision and the usage, because I think that’s where DUSK’s real story will become clearer.
