Dusk Network is one of those projects I keep watching because privacy is becoming a much bigger issue in blockchain than many traders realize.
I’ve seen plenty of L1 narratives come and go, but Dusk is targeting a specific problem: financial applications need blockchain transparency, yet businesses also need confidentiality. Dusk tries to bridge that gap through its privacy-focused L1 and Confidential Security Contract (XSC) standard.
What I like is the focus. Instead of trying to be everything for everyone, Dusk is building infrastructure around confidential smart contracts and regulated financial use cases. That could matter as tokenized assets, securities, and institutional blockchain adoption grow.
My biggest concern is adoption. Strong technology alone doesn’t create demand. Competition is also intense, and privacy-focused infrastructure must prove it can meet real regulatory and enterprise requirements.
One lesson I’ve learned from crypto is that the best infrastructure narratives need actual users, not just a good story.
I’m watching Dusk for developer activity, partnerships, liquidity, and real-world financial usage.
Do you think privacy will become a core requirement for institutional blockchain adoption?
