Privacy Is Only One Piece
The deeper I go into DuskFoundation, the more I think the real question isn’t simply how much data a blockchain can hide.
For financial applications, the harder challenge is building a system where sensitive information stays confidential while the network can still prove that the right rules were followed.
That’s where Dusk’s XSC approach becomes interesting to me. I’m looking at how confidentiality, verification, security assumptions, and governance connect together rather than treating privacy as an isolated feature.
The questions Im exploring now are → What does the confidentiality model actually depend on? → Where are the critical trust assumptions? → How are protocol changes governed? → What happens when privacy requirements conflict with verification or compliance?
I’m still researching, so Im more interested in understanding the architecture than jumping to conclusions.
If you had to inspect one part of Dusk first, would you start with XSC, the privacy stack, consensus, or governance?
