The more I look at crypto, the more I realize privacy isn't just about hiding transactions.

For financial applications, privacy can be the difference between something being usable and something being impossible to use at scale.

That's why Dusk Network caught my attention.

It's a Layer 1 built around financial use cases, with Confidential Security Contracts designed to support confidential smart contracts. I find that idea interesting because it tries to bring privacy into the actual infrastructure instead of treating it like an extra feature.

I'm not saying Dusk has everything figured out. Adoption, real usage, security, and execution still matter more than the narrative.

But the problem it's trying to solve feels real to me. If blockchains are going to handle serious financial activity, they need to balance transparency with confidentiality.

That's the part I'm watching closely.

Can Dusk turn this privacy focused approach into something people actually use?
