After following crypto for years, I have learned that good documentation doesn’t always mean a system will work smoothly in the real world.
That’s why I found DUSK interesting. I initially looked at its privacy design as just another feature, but reading deeper changed my view. The use of different models, including Phoenix and Moonlight, shows how difficult it is to balance privacy, transparency, usability, and security assumptions in one network.
What stood out to me is that the hard part isn’t simply hiding transaction data. It’s making different privacy approaches work without creating confusing user experiences or weak points during transitions.
I’m still cautious. Decentralization, network performance, adoption, and ongoing token unlocks all deserve attention.
