I think Bitcoin is telling us something important right now.
July CPI came in at 3.4%, basically exactly what the market expected.
A few years ago, a CPI print like this could dominate the entire trading day.
This time?
$BTC moved a little... and then basically went back to sleep.
And that's now three CPI releases in a row without even a 1% move.
To me, that doesn't mean macro suddenly doesn't matter.
It means the market has already priced in a lot of the inflation story.
What I'm watching now is actual money.
ETF flows.
Global liquidity.
Fed expectations.
Institutional positioning.
Regulatory progress.
Those are the things that can create sustained demand — not another CPI number that everyone already expected.
And then there's $65K.
Bitcoin tested that area repeatedly over the last week and still couldn't secure a daily close above it.
That's probably telling us more about the current market than today's inflation print.
Good news isn't necessarily being ignored.
There just aren't enough buyers willing to chase it yet.
Until that changes, I'm treating $65K as the level that needs to prove the market is ready for something bigger.
