Dusk Network feels different from the usual Layer 1 story. After watching countless chains promise faster transactions and massive adoption, I’m more interested in what problem a network actually solves.
Dusk focuses on privacy for financial applications, using confidential smart contracts through its XSC standard. That matters because real financial activity can’t always be completely public.
But good technology alone doesn’t create adoption. Developers, liquidity and users already have places they’re comfortable with. Dusk still has to prove there’s enough reason to move.
I’m curious, but not convinced yet. The idea makes sense. Execution will decide everything.
