I am Watching what With Dusk
Lately I ve been looking at Dusk less from the token angle and more from the infrastructure side. That shift makes the project more interesting to me.
One thing I noticed is that Dusk isn t trying to treat regulated finance like a normal crypto use case. There are different requirements around who can access an asset, what information needs to stay private, and what still needs to be visible when compliance matters.
Thats where the model starts making sense to me.
confidential transactions can protect sensitive financial activity, while on chain rules can still give issuers and institutions a way to work within regulatory requirements. Its a more practical direction than simply saying everything should be public or everything should stay hidden.
But I’m still watching the execution.
The technology can be solid and the idea can be good, but adoption is a completely different challenge. Issuers need reasons to come in, investors need enough liquidity, and integrations need to work without adding another layer of friction.
So I am not looking at Dusk and thinking the problem is solved.
I am more interested in whether this infrastructure can actually become useful for real financial markets.
Thats the part I think will tell us where Dusk really stands.
