Bitcoin Holds Near $64K as U.S. Inflation Eases to 3.4%

Bitcoin is trading around the $63,000–$64,000 region as markets assess the latest U.S. inflation data.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the Consumer Price Index rose 0.1% in July, while annual inflation slowed to 3.4% from 3.5% in June. Core inflation, excluding food and energy, stood at 2.5% year-over-year. The figures were broadly in line with expectations.

Bitcoin showed a limited reaction to the report and remained near $64,000 before later slipping toward $63,500, according to recent market coverage. This suggests traders are still waiting for clearer signals from upcoming economic data and Federal Reserve developments.

For Bitcoin, easing inflation removes some immediate macroeconomic pressure, but it does not guarantee a sustained price recovery. Price action and broader market demand remain important confirmation factors.

The current picture is therefore balanced: inflation has moderated, while Bitcoin has yet to establish a decisive directional move.
