🚨 CPI IS IN — AND THE MARKET DIDN’T GET THE SURPRISE IT WAS WAITING FOR 👀🇺🇸

July U.S. inflation came in almost exactly where expectations were pointing:

📊 CPI: +0.1% MoM | 3.4% YoY
📊 Core CPI: +0.2% MoM | 2.5% YoY

Inflation is cooling slightly, but there was no major dovish surprise to completely shift the Fed narrative.

The initial market reaction has been relatively calm:

💵 Dollar → slightly weaker
📉 Treasury yields → lower
📈 Stocks → some support
$BTC → still around $63K–$64K

For crypto, I’d call this neutral to mildly positive.

The data is soft enough to avoid putting fresh pressure on the Fed, but not soft enough to become a powerful bullish catalyst on its own.

Now comes the more interesting part:

Forget the headline for a moment. Watch the market structure. 👀

🔹 Is BTC holding its post-CPI move?
🔹 Is spot demand increasing?
🔹 What happens to open interest?
🔹 Are liquidations accelerating?
🔹 Does the dollar start recovering?

And tomorrow brings another potential catalyst: July PPI.

PPI could either reinforce today’s cooling-inflation narrative—or bring inflation concerns straight back into focus.

CPI passed without a shock. Now the price action has to reveal what the market actually thinks.#USJulyCPI&PPIDueThisWeek
