A Bitcoin Fork So Dead It Can't Even Revive Itself for 6 Years This might be my favorite crypto story of the month, and it has nothing to do with price. On Saturday a group forked away from Bitcoin over a proposal called BIP-110. Their new chain has produced exactly two blocks and then... stopped. It's been frozen on block 961,633 for days while Bitcoin marched 326 blocks ahead. Here's the trap they built for themselves. Mining their chain costs the same as mining Bitcoin, because both inherited the same difficulty at the split. But their coin has no market, no exchange, no buyers. So miners are asked to burn real electricity for a token worth nothing. Nobody's showing up, obviously. Now the punchline. A chain can only lower its difficulty after producing 2,016 blocks. This one has managed two. At its current frozen pace, that fix is estimated 6.3 years away, and climbing, because every idle hour pushes it further out. It's a car stuck in mud whose only tow truck arrives in 2031. The lesson underneath the comedy is real. You can't rewrite $BTC by decree. Without miners actually behind you, a "new Bitcoin" is just an empty ledger nobody's writing to. 🪦 #BTC Price Analysis# #Bitcoin Price Prediction: What is Bitcoins next move?#
