Why 1H & 4H timeframes are my go-to for trading $BTC $ETH and $SOL
Lower timeframes (5m/15m) are full of noise and false signals. Higher ones (daily+) move too slow for active trading.
Here’s why 1H and 4H strike the perfect balance:
🔸1H Timeframe
• Ideal for day trading
• Filters out minor noise while still giving timely entries
• Clearer support/resistance and candlestick patterns
• Easy to monitor without staring at charts all day
🔸4H Timeframe
• Excellent for swing trading
• Shows stronger, more reliable trends
• Fewer fakeouts than lower timeframes
• Better risk-reward setups and cleaner structure
Best approach: Use 4H to identify the overall trend direction, then drop to 1H for precise entries and exits. This multi-timeframe method reduces emotional decisions and improves consistency.
Trade smart, not fast. What timeframes do you prefer?
