The One ETH Metric Cutting Against the Bull Case Most of my $ETH takes lately have leaned constructive, so here's the data point pulling the other way. CryptoQuant's Exchange Netflow has been climbing all August. In plain terms, more ETH is moving onto exchanges than off them, and coins heading to exchanges are usually coins getting lined up to sell. That's the mirror image of the setup I liked earlier this month, when the exit was quiet and coins were leaving exchanges for cold storage. Now the flow reversed. When it spiked hardest on August 10, ETH dropped 3% in step, from $1,920 to $1,875. The metric and the candle agreed. I'd hold this loosely though, because it's one signal in a noisy tape. Options desks are still positioning for a grind back toward $2K into September, just with heavy downside hedges at $1,700 and $1,650. So the smart money isn't panicking, it's buying insurance. Wednesday's inflation print is the referee. The setup is genuinely balanced, coins flowing to exchanges but institutions playing for $2K. One data release probably breaks the tie. Netflow says caution near-term. I'm inclined to listen until it turns. 🌊 #Ethereum #Altcoin Season#
