$RKLB just dropped Q2 2026 earnings.

Rocket Lab continues building out its position in the small-to-medium launch market while expanding into spacecraft systems. The company's been threading a needle—trying to scale launch cadence without burning cash, while simultaneously investing in Neutron development and higher-margin space systems.

Revenue growth matters, but watch the mix. Launch services are lower margin than spacecraft components. If they're booking more Photon sales or electron component contracts, that's where the real leverage shows up.

Valuation's been all over the place this year. At current levels, you're paying for execution risk on Neutron and hoping the space systems backlog converts into actual margin expansion.

The space infrastructure thesis is real, but timing matters. $RKLB needs to prove it can operate profitably at scale before the market rewards it like a mature aerospace play. Right now it's still a growth story with aerospace costs.

Numbers tell you if they're on track or if the hype's running ahead of reality.
