According to Jin10, Yemen's government issued a statement strongly condemning the Houthis' "terrorist attack" on Mocha Port and warning that the assault threatens Red Sea shipping safety. The statement said the Houthis claim the government is besieging Yemen while systematically attacking ports and infrastructure, called that position "undeniably ironic," described the attack as "an act of war against the state, society and the national economy," and accused Iran of providing weapons and technical support. It added that the threat has now expanded to "regional and international security," said the government would "fully assume its national and constitutional responsibility" to protect vital facilities, and urged the international community to take practical action to cut off funding and weapons supplies to the Houthis rather than limiting itself to verbal condemnation.
