🇺🇸 AMERICA WANTS TO BECOME THE WORLD’S MINERAL SUPERPOWER — AND IT’S GOING TO COST BILLIONS

Washington just declared war on one of America’s most dangerous vulnerabilities: its dependence on foreign critical minerals.

The Trump administration is committing $3 BILLION to critical-mineral and battery projects in an aggressive push to rebuild America’s domestic supply chain and strengthen its defense industrial base.

Trump’s message was blunt:

“America must reclaim its place as the world’s mineral superpower.”

And the reason is brutally simple.
Modern warfare runs on minerals.

Precision-guided missiles. Air-defense interceptors. Fighter jets. Armored vehicles. Infrared sensors. Advanced electronics. Batteries. Magnets.

They all depend on materials such as rare earth elements, tungsten, germanium and scandium.

And after months of war with Iran, Washington is staring directly at a fucking nightmare:

America has burned through enormous quantities of precision weapons and air-defense interceptors — while rebuilding those stockpiles could take years.

At the same time, China dominates enormous portions of the global mining and processing ecosystem.

That is the vulnerability Trump wants to break.

💰 THE BILLIONS ARE ALREADY MOVING

The Pentagon’s Office of Strategic Capital announced:

• $1.4 BILLION conditional loan to Sila Nanotechnologies for lithium-ion battery components.

• $400 MILLION conditional loan to Sunrise Energy Metals for a scandium project in Australia.

• $150 MILLION conditional loan to Niron Magnetics, a developer of permanent magnets.

The U.S. Export-Import Bank is also providing:

• $58 MILLION in financing for Westwater Resources, Global Advanced Metals and 5E Advanced Materials.

And this is only part of the broader strategy.

The administration has already backed strategic mineral reserves worth roughly $12 BILLION, supported equity investments in mining and processing companies, and moved to reduce defense contractors’ dependence on Chinese supplies.
