X’s new creator monetization rules are going to be interesting.
Starting September 7, the old program is replaced by the Original Content Rewards Program.
Existing creators reapply from September 8.
To qualify, you need👇
- 500K verified-user impressions in 90 days.
- For payouts, only Premium subscriber impressions count.
- Community Note that content earns nothing.
- Engagement requests like “like, reply, bookmark, follow or repost” can get you removed.
- Reuploading someone else’s content will be not eligible, even with credit.
- And memes or commentary only count when they bring meaningful value beyond what already exists.
