Everyone keeps calling $LTC “OLD”.

That might be exactly why retail is sleeping on it.

Look at what’s happening in 2026:

• Institutions are holding ~3.7M LTC
• Emirates started accepting LTC for real-world payments
• Canary Litecoin ETF is now live → institutional capital can flow in
• Hashrate just hit a new ATH
• Transaction activity is accelerating
• LitVM is bringing smart-contract functionality closer to Litecoin

And here’s the part I’m watching closely:

When BTC.D starts dropping, $LTC has historically been one of the coins that can outperform hard.

Retail sees an old coin.

I see a network with growing adoption, institutional exposure and a chart that looks like accumulation.

If BTC.D rolls over, don’t be surprised if $LTC wakes up violently.

The setup is already there.

The question is whether retail notices before the move starts.
