STOP SEARCHING FINANCIAL SITES ON GOOGLE 🚨🛑👀

Scammers can copy apps, websites, and money products in hours. Then they buy the top sponsored Google slot so the fake link sits above the real one. 💸🔍

On 6 August 2026, a trader said that trap took his life savings. He searched “Trezor wallet.” The top sponsored Google result was a phishing site (a fake page built to steal secrets). It asked for the wallet backup (the 12 or 24 recovery words).

Whoever holds those words can move the coins. The hardware box does not save you after the seed is typed into a browser. 🔓💻

Trezor hard rule: never enter a wallet backup into any website or form. ⚠️

Same class of clone + search / store hits 🟥
🔶 May 2026: fake Uniswap Google ads. Stolen funds above about $400,000
🔷 March 2026: SEAL tracked malicious Google ads. Losses near about $1.27M in one short stretch
🔸 April 2026: fake Ledger Live app-style clone. About $9.5M across 50+ victims
🔹 Years of copycat wallet pages. Same goal: get the seed or a bad approval

How the trap works 🎯
1) User needs the real app or site
2) User searches the brand on Google (or an app store)
3) A paid or clone result looks official and sits on top
4) User types seed words or signs a bad approval
5) Coins leave. Support cannot reverse the chain

What to do instead ✅
✅ Type the official URL yourself. Do not search. Or open a bookmark made earlier
✅ Prefer the brand’s own link from official social or docs, not a search ad
✅ Never type seed words into a phone, browser, email, or “support chat”
✅ If a page asks for the backup “to fix,” “to migrate,” or “to unlock,” close it

Will people keep clicking the top Google ad for “wallet,” or switch to typed URLs and bookmarks only? 👇
