$LUNC hitting $119 again? Let's actually do that math, because it gets wild fast.
Back at its 2022 peak, LUNC's circulating supply was around 340 million tokens, for a roughly $40B market cap. Today, after the depeg minted trillions of new tokens to try to save the peg, circulating supply sits at 5.52 trillion. Same price, same math? You'd need a market cap of about $658 trillion — more than six times global GDP. That's not "hard," that's off the table entirely unless most of that supply gets burned first.
Here's the more interesting number though: matching the old market cap ($40B) with today's supply only requires a price of about $0.0073. That's roughly 150x from here. Still a huge move — but a completely different kind of impossible than the first one.
So the real question for LUNC isn't "can it hit $119 again." It's how many trillion tokens need to disappear before that question even means anything.
