$BTC Bitcoin Miners Move Nearly 600 BTC. The Transfers Are Getting Attention.

Two of the largest publicly listed Bitcoin mining companies have moved another sizeable amount of BTC.

According to Arkham Intelligence, MARA transferred 200 BTC, worth around $12.86 million, to NYDIG. Around the same time, Riot Platforms sent another 381 BTC, valued at approximately $24.51 million, to the same destination.

The combined transfers total 581 BTC, making them difficult to ignore.

One detail is worth keeping in mind, though.

A transfer to NYDIG does not automatically mean those coins have been sold. The movement could be related to custody, treasury management, collateral, or preparation for a future transaction. On-chain data alone cannot confirm the final purpose.

MARA also continues to hold a substantial Bitcoin treasury of roughly 36,303 BTC, valued at about $2.34 billion.

Large miner transfers rarely tell the whole story on their own. Even so, they are closely watched because miners represent one of the market's natural sources of Bitcoin supply. If these transfers eventually lead to exchange inflows or confirmed sales, they could become more relevant for short-term market sentiment.
