One thing I have learned is that trading does not have to be limited to a 1:2 risk to reward ratio.
Many traders remain attached to 1:2 because it is the only model they were taught. Their mentors learned it, passed it down, and presented it as the standard. There is nothing wrong with 1:2, but it is not the limit of what is possible.
When market structure, liquidity, timing, and execution align, opportunities with higher risk to reward ratios can exist. The goal is not to force unrealistic targets. The goal is to develop the skill and patience to recognize when the market genuinely offers more.
Not every trade was perfect, and not every day went according to plan. That is part of trading. Real progress came from staying calm, protecting capital, learning from mistakes, and trusting my process.
I’m grateful to everyone supporting my journey. There is still much more to learn and achieve, but today I’m taking a moment to appreciate how far I have come.
