Do two participants really need to reveal everything to prove they followed the rules?

Not necessarily.

One idea behind Garbled Circuits is that computation can be verified without exposing every private input involved in the process. The result matters, but the underlying secrets stay hidden.

That sounds simple, yet it changes how I think about trust.

Instead of asking participants to reveal more information, the system asks them to prove the outcome while keeping sensitive data private.

The trade-off is interesting.

Privacy is valuable, but every extra cryptographic layer also increases complexity. Stronger guarantees often come with more difficult engineering.

For #baby , I think the future of Bitcoin-native applications is not just about making systems trustless.

It's about making them verifiable without sacrificing privacy.

So I keep wondering:

If a protocol can prove the result without revealing the secret, would you still need to trust the participants?
