Stop Making Bitcoin More Complicated

Every time someone says they've found a new way to "unlock" Bitcoin, it usually means giving up control. Wrap it. Bridge it. Trust another platform. Then everyone acts shocked when something gets exploited.

That's the part I'm done with.

Babylon is one of the few projects that starts with the obvious question: why should using your BTC mean handing it over? If self-custody is the whole point of Bitcoin, then any system that takes that away is already going in the wrong direction.

The idea of staking Bitcoin without giving up your keys just feels like common sense. It won't magically fix everything. Crypto never works that way. But at least it's trying to solve the actual problem instead of piling another layer on top and calling it innovation.

I'd rather have something simple that works than another shiny promise that falls apart the first time the market gets rough.
