Recently, a scam pattern has emerged in the crypto industry.
Scammers contact victims through social platforms, claiming that an exchange's promotional event has opened an internal channel for an "AI Quantitative Trading System" with daily returns of 1.5%–10%, limited spots available. To build trust, the scammers send a photo of what they claim is an executive's ID card from the exchange. They also provide a link to a so-called "AI Trading App."
Initially, the victims followed the scammers' instructions to create a wallet on a third-party platform and deposited a small amount of USDC. After confirming the funds arrived, they began increasing the amount. A small withdrawal went through successfully.
They thought: This is real.
They continued to invest more. The scammers told them they had received an airdrop reward that required additional deposits to activate. Over several days, the victims were guided to make multiple large transfers — testing with a small amount first, then sending larger sums — all to the same external wallet address.
In the end, their combined losses were devastating.
The "returns" never existed. The small amount they were able to withdraw was just bait.
Remember Three Things
🔴 Legitimate platforms will never direct you to trade through other links, and will never instruct you to transfer assets to other websites or wallet addresses.
Any "event" that requires you to send funds to an external wallet to participate is 100% a scam.
🔴 Real platform events will never involve someone privately sending an ID card photo to "prove authenticity."
No legitimate institution does this.
🔴 Binance will never initiate private messages to you on social media, WhatsApp, or Telegram.
If someone contacts you first claiming to be Binance staff, verify through the official Binance app or Binance Verify.

Other Warning Signs
Strangers proactively contacting you to recommend "high-yield investments"
Promises of stable high returns — high returns always come with high risk; any claim of "guaranteed daily returns" is not realistic
Being directed to create a wallet on a third-party platform instead of operating within your verified official account
Being required to pay before withdrawing — legitimate platforms never ask you to deposit first to withdraw
If You Encounter This
