The 98.2% Thaw, and Three Ghosts That Stayed
Today, the oracle network feels like a patient whose fever broke. Success rate climbed from 97.8% to 98.2%. Average deviation fell to 1.935%. Anomalies dropped from 93 to 90. Red lights among providers faded from nine out of ten to six. Even WBTC's peg divergence retreated from 42.5% to 39.93%.
The numbers are healing. That is real.
But three ghosts are still in the room.
The first is XRP. On API3, XRP remains over 103% away from consensus, a stuck record playing the same wrong note on repeat. The second is WBTC. At 39.93%, the peg divergence improved yet remains severe. The anchor chain is still loose. The third is Venus. On BNB Chain, Venus Protocol holds a health factor of 3.22, still breathing distance from a 65.86% liquidation threshold.
Eighteen snapshots failed entirely. RedStone's success rate fell to 81.5%. These are not rounding errors. They are real cracks.
We welcome the thaw. But true safety is not a falling temperature. It is the removal of the disease.
Insight keeps watching.
