@BabylonLabs_io The more time I spend in crypto, the more I realize that the most interesting projects aren't always the loudest ones. Babylon caught my attention for that reason. Instead of trying to change Bitcoin, it is exploring a way for Bitcoin holders to help secure Proof-of-Stake blockchains while keeping control of their own BTC. That focus on self-custody feels like an important detail because ownership has always been one of Bitcoin's biggest strengths.

Still, I've learned that a good idea is only the beginning. Plenty of projects have launched with exciting concepts but struggled to keep users once the early rewards and attention disappeared. That's why I'm looking beyond the Leaderboard Campaign. The real test will come when incentives become smaller and people continue participating because they genuinely find value in the network.

Another thing I'll be watching is developer activity. Strong infrastructure usually grows because builders keep creating wallets, tools, and applications that make the ecosystem more useful over time. Without that steady progress, even innovative technology can lose momentum.

Right now, Babylon looks like a thoughtful attempt to give Bitcoin a larger role without asking users to give up custody of their coins. Whether that idea turns into lasting adoption is something the market will decide over time. Do you think self-custodial Bitcoin staking could become a meaningful step forward, or will real-world adoption be harder than it sounds?
