Babylon’s Real Split Is Not Technical — It’s Political

@BabylonLabs_io I kept staring at Babylon’s numbers today because they say more than the chart does. Over 56,000 BTC now sits in Genesis vaults, billions in value, and BABY is suddenly moving like the market finally woke up to the story. But what pulled me in was not the price action — it was the structure. I realized i was calling it “active” security too quickly. The Bitcoin is active in the sense that it earns, backs finality, and helps protect the network, but it is still passive when it comes to power. It does not vote. It does not shape fees. It does not steer the protocol. That part belongs to BABY holders and delegates.
So the real question for me is this: if Bitcoin is doing the heavy lifting, does it ever get a real voice, or is this system built so that the asset securing it will never be the one directing it?
