That is why I have become increasingly interested in Babylon’s long-term vision. The project is developing Native Bitcoin-Backed Borrowing and has already launched a public testnet integrated with Aave v4. The goal is simple: allow Bitcoin holders to use BTC as collateral to access liquidity without selling their Bitcoin. 🚀
What stands out even more is Babylon’s commitment to self-custody. Instead of relying on Wrapped BTC or cross-chain bridges, Babylon is building infrastructure that keeps Bitcoin connected to its native security model while expanding its financial utility. 🔥
I am also excited about Trustless Bitcoin Vaults. Instead of Bitcoin being only passive storage, these vaults are designed to help users maintain ownership of their Bitcoin while putting it to work in a trust-minimized way. 💎
Combined with Native Bitcoin-Backed Borrowing, Babylon’s vision is to create a Bitcoin-native financial ecosystem where holders can unlock liquidity, preserve self-custody, and continue benefiting from Bitcoin’s long-term appreciation. 🟠
If you get more money now, will you become happier? 🤔
Today is my birthday, and I have been reflecting on the past year. 🎂
Does anyone else feel that life was actually happier when you had less money?
I still remember earning my first income while I was in school. Saving my first 10 million VND felt incredible. Then came 50 million, then 100 million. Every milestone made me feel like I was getting closer to success. ✨
But as my savings grew, that excitement slowly faded. The numbers became bigger, yet the happiness somehow became smaller.
Maybe happiness was never about the amount itself, but about the feeling of progress.
That is probably why, even though I bought Bitcoin around $98K and it is now trading near $60K, I do not feel particularly disappointed. Part of the reason is that I deposited my BTC into Babylon quite early, so I barely check my daily PnL anymore.
