One thing that stood out to me while comparing different shared security models is how differently they approach trust.

Cosmos Mesh Security strengthens networks by allowing chains to cross stake each other's native tokens, so security grows from within the ecosystem itself. Babylon's approach feels fundamentally different. Instead of depending on another chain's native asset, it extends Bitcoin's security externally through BTC staking, without moving BTC or turning it into a wrapped token.

To me, that's more than a technical difference. It shows two distinct philosophies. One shares security across interconnected ecosystems, while the other lets Bitcoin secure new networks without changing Bitcoin's core design.

Do you think Bitcoin can become a major security layer for PoS ecosystems?

✅ Yes
