SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said at the company’s first earnings call that its future AI services will run exclusively on Nvidia systems. According to Odaily, Musk described Nvidia’s Vera Rubin architecture as the best AI computing architecture and said SpaceX expects its computing capacity to exceed 2 gigawatts by the end of this year, with a goal of reaching nearly 10 gigawatts by the end of next year. SpaceX also plans to deploy Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 rack-scale systems on the ground and in space for its Starmind satellite project, with the related satellites expected to begin launches next year.
