China’s semiconductor equipment and materials stocks rose in intraday trading on August 4, with Jiemian News reporting gains across components, semiconductors, advanced packaging and photoresist-related shares. ACM Research China supplier Changxin Storage Technology Co. had an industrial and commercial filing change on July 30 that lifted its registered capital from about 23.89 billion yuan to about 31.39 billion yuan, a rise of roughly 31%, while Jiemian News also cited a strong first-half earnings outlook from Naura Technology Group and upbeat industry commentary from several brokerages.
According to a July 30 filing, Changxin Storage Technology was established in November 2017, its legal representative is Wu Liying, and its business scope includes integrated circuit design and manufacturing. The company is wholly owned by Changxin Technology Group Co. Ltd.
On August 3, Naura Technology Group said in a half-year earnings forecast that it expects first-half revenue of about 6.691 billion yuan, up about 34.89% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of 2.7 billion yuan to 2.9 billion yuan, up 282.48% to 310.81%; and non-GAAP net profit of 1 billion yuan to 1.2 billion yuan, up 85.61% to 122.73%.
Jiemian News reported that Dongwu Securities said HBM demand is driving storage process upgrades and capital spending, while thin-film deposition, etching and metrology equipment account for more than 50% of storage expansion investment. Ping An Securities said TSMC’s market share reached 72% in the first quarter of 2026 and the top five foundries held 91.1% combined, while mainland foundries SMIC and Hua Hong Semiconductor had capacity utilization rates of 93% and 100%.
In ETF trading, the GF Semiconductor Material and Equipment ETF rose 1.91% by 11:04 on August 4 and had climbed more than 4% intraday, according to Jiemian News. The ETF gained 20.81% over the past three months as of August 3. Its latest scale reached 10.816 billion yuan as of August 3, with net inflows of 190 million yuan and a one-week increase in fund shares of 561 million. Jiemian News said the fund had net inflows on four of the past five trading days, totaling 1.089 billion yuan.
