3D printing smart manufacturing brand LightMake has completed two funding rounds totaling more than 25 million yuan, with investors including the family office of Hymson Laser founder, Nanshan Capital, Zhuruan Asia, and Langhan Capital, according to 36Kr. The company said the money will be used for product R&D, supply chain setup, and global marketing.
Founded in 2025, LightMake develops desktop and small-format manufacturing tools for SMB and pro-c users. Its first product, the LightMake L4, is a standalone four-head 3D printing workstation now crowdfunding on Kickstarter at $2,399. LightMake said the four linear-motor printheads lift precision from 100 microns to 1 micron and extend device life from 5,000 hours to 50,000 hours. The company also said the design can cut waste by up to 80% and lower material costs by 50% through its filament-making setup.
