PPP market monitoring showed that in Polymarket’s "WTI crude price touches in August" event, the probability of WTI crude falling to $75 a barrel rose to 77%, up 11% over 24 hours, while the probability of it falling to $70 a barrel rose to 45%, up 12% over 24 hours. According to Odaily, WTI crude had previously risen on escalating tensions in the Middle East, but market concerns about supply disruptions eased after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a pause in military action against Iran and said the U.S. and Iran would hold a new round of talks. WTI crude is now near $80 a barrel.
