Babylon is one of the few Bitcoin-focused projects that made me stop scrolling. It isn't trying to reinvent Bitcoin or replace it. Instead, it asks a quieter question: what if Bitcoin's security could protect other blockchains without giving up self-custody? That feels more practical than another chain promising impossible speeds. Still, good ideas don't guarantee adoption. The real challenge is convincing users, builders, and liquidity to move when most ecosystems are already comfortable where they are. We've seen networks look impressive until real traffic exposes their limits. Babylon's approach feels measured, but execution will decide everything. If it can turn Bitcoin's trust into something genuinely useful for PoS networks, it has a chance. Until then, curiosity makes more sense than certainty.
