@BabylonLabs_io made me think about a problem that sounds simple until money is actually on the line: who notices when a claim is wrong?
I used to think having a challenger was enough. But that leaves an uncomfortable gap. A system can have a valid challenge mechanism and still be vulnerable if nobody is watching closely when the important moment arrives.
That is why the Universal Challenger is interesting to me. It can monitor claims across applications and challenge an invalid proof instead of relying entirely on one party to notice something is wrong.
But redundancy does not automatically mean safety. If several parties can challenge, the harder question becomes whether someone will actually react fast enough when a bad claim appears.
#baby sits around that coordination layer, but I keep coming back to one uncomfortable thought:
If everyone is responsible for watching, who is actually responsible when everyone assumes someone else is watching?
Would you trust the mechanism—or still want your own challenge path?
