I kept thinking the waiting was the biggest downside until I realized that's actually the point.

At first I was refreshing my wallet wondering if something had gone wrong. Then it clicked—the protocol isn't trying to make Bitcoin feel faster. It's making me wait for Bitcoin to do what it's supposed to do before treating my BTC as usable collateral.

That honestly feels different from a lot of "BTCFi" projects that try to hide the complexity.

Will it annoy people? Probably. If BTC is moving hard, nobody enjoys waiting. But I'd rather wait a bit than rely on extra trust just to get a smoother experience.

The real test won't be on testnet. It'll be seeing whether people still prefer that tradeoff when there's real money and real liquidations on the line.
