#baby $BABY To be honest, I didn’t personally stake BTC into @BabylonLabs_io or go through the redemption process step by step. I’m still half-skeptical about this TBV (Timelock Bitcoin Vault) design. The market is full of “trustless” projects, yet when something goes wrong, people often still rely on the project team. Babylon’s TBV, however, breaks that trust into three distinct layers.

The first is Standard Redemption, where you simply coordinate with the Vault Provider (VP). It’s the smoothest path for normal conditions.

The second is Liquidation Redemption. If the VP goes offline, disappears, or gets hacked, an independent AVK can step in. It’s a solid backup that shifts trust from the VP to another layer.

The third is Self-Claim, and to me, this is the most important path. Users keep pre-stored WOTS keys and can recover their funds without anyone else’s cooperation. That’s true user sovereignty.

Having lived through LUNA and FTX, I value this third option the most. The system no longer depends on anyone’s character—it depends on whether you’ve safely backed up your key file. Watching Self-Claim usage will reveal everything: low usage means confidence in the VP, while a spike means the market has lost trust.

Holding $BABY feels steady because, as long as the keys remain in my hands, the final control remains mine.
