China's economic trend in the second half of the year is expected to be a controllable recovery. According to Jin10, JPMorgan China chief economist Zhu Feng said achieving the full-year economic growth target depends on faster fiscal policy implementation and, when necessary, additional incremental fiscal policy. Zhu said policy resources should be better converted into employment and income growth for residents, thereby boosting consumption and private investment. He also said that although second-quarter GDP growth slowed, China's GDP rose 4.7% year on year in the first half of the year, laying a relatively solid foundation for meeting the full-year GDP growth target.
