Lately, I've been thinking about how often we celebrate technical breakthroughs while overlooking the people and incentives that keep these systems running. That's partly why Babylon stayed on my radar. Giving Bitcoin a bigger role through self-custodial staking is an interesting idea, but the technology is only one piece of the puzzle.

The more I look at crypto and AI together, the more I feel that governance is becoming the real challenge. Open systems can be transparent, yet influence can still slowly gather around the biggest players. Code can create opportunities, but it can't guarantee fairness, trust, or healthy participation on its own.
I like that Babylon pushes this conversation forward, even if it doesn't answer every question. For me, the bigger story isn't whether the model works technically. It's whether communities, incentives, and institutions can evolve alongside the technology. That's still something we're all watching unfold.
