CAF Bank has suspended its online services since 24 July after reports of suspected cyber fraud, leaving some charities unable to pay staff and suppliers, according to BBC. The bank, based in West Malling, Kent, serves more than 14,000 non-profit causes across the UK. Charities including Maidstone-based 21 Together said the outage has disrupted payroll and other essential operations. CAF Bank chief executive Alison Taylor said the core bank is not affected, but the online banking service will remain unavailable until further notice while external experts work on an issue linked to third-party software.
