1. Pick 1 setup and wait for it
Don’t trade both sides. Right now there are 2 clean ones:
Setup A: Long the Dip
Why: Trend is up. Price > MA60. Buyers stepped in hard on that big green volume.
Entry: Wait for pullback to *989 - 990* and hold. Or breakout + retest of 996.81
SL: 986.50* — if it loses MA60 with volume, thesis is broken
TP1: 1000 → take 30-50% off
TP2: 1010-1015
R:R: If risk 5 points to make 10-15 points, that's a good trade
Setup B: Short the Rejection
Why: -3.99% today, hitting top of range. If it can't break 1000, sellers show up
Entry: Rejection wick at *996 - 1000* + close back below 994
SL: 1002 — above the round number
TP1: 989.72* MA60
TP2: 986.93
R:R: Risk ∼6 points to make ∼8-10 points
2. The 3 rules that keep you alive
1. Risk management > everything: Risk only 1-2% of account per trade. With 10x leverage, a 10% move = 100% of your margin. Use low leverage to start.
2. Stop Loss is non-negotiable: Set it the second you enter. Hope is not a strategy.
3. Take profits: Don’t let winners turn to losers. Scale out at TP1, move SL to breakeven.
3. What NOT to do here
Chasing at 995: You’re mid-range. Bad entries = bad R:R
No SL: One wick to 973 and you’re liquidated
Revenge trading: If 1 setup fails, walk away for 15m
Reality check
I’m not a financial advisor. Perps are high risk. Most retail traders lose because of leverage + no plan. Only use money you can afford to lose.
For GSUSDT right now: The higher probability play is usually "trade with the trend" = Setup A, as long as 989 holds.
