The market is still trading cautiously. On the 4H chart, remains under short-term resistance, showing that traders are waiting for stronger conviction instead of chasing momentum.
That is exactly why I think the bigger question isn't today's price action.
Can Bitcoin become a meaningful source of security for other blockchains without giving up the trust assumptions that made it valuable in the first place?
Babylon officially enables self-custodial BTC staking directly on the Bitcoin network to help secure PoS blockchains. To me, that's more important than the current chart because it challenges the long-held belief that Bitcoin must be wrapped or placed under external custody before it can support another ecosystem.
I'll keep watching two things: whether more Bitcoin holders choose self-custodial participation, and whether more PoS networks adopt security backed by native BTC. Those signals would matter far more than a short-term move on the chart.
Today's market is uncertain. The long-term question is whether trust itself becomes Bitcoin's biggest export.
