Zhongji Innolight said on a July 28 conference call that it expects two influential key customers in the industry to begin bulk purchasing NPO products in the second half of 2027, with larger-scale adoption likely in 2028, according to 36Kr. The company said several CSP vendors, large-model companies and neocloud customers are interested in NPO products, and product onboarding is expected to be completed successively during 2027. It added that NPO could become one of the mainstream products in scale-up scenarios and may ramp in stages, first among leading companies and then across more customers.
