Been digging into $BABY , #baby , @BabylonLabs_io this week and one thing kept nagging at me: the staked BTC side of this protocol is just... calm. Completely calm.

BABY the token is down again this week, sliding a few percent on top of a rough stretch that's had it drifting near multi-month lows. If you only looked at the chart you'd assume something's breaking.

But the vault side tells a different story. Staked BTC across Babylon's finality providers has basically held its range still sitting in the tens of thousands of BTC, still north of $5B in value, without the kind of exit flow you'd expect if delegators were actually losing conviction.
That's the part I keep turning over.

BTC stakers aren't reacting to BABY price the way token holders are. Makes sense once you remember these are structurally different bets one is a yield/security position denominated in BTC, the other is pure exposure to emissions and sentiment.

But seeing it play out this cleanly on-chain, where delegation just... doesn't move while the token gets hit, is a good reminder that "protocol activity" and "token price" are not the same dataset, even when the marketing treats them like they are.

Still not sure which one is the leading indicator here, if either is. Anyone tracking finality provider inflows/outflows more granularly than I am?
