Hong Kong advertising spending reached HK$8.77 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up 5% year on year, according to Ming Pao, citing admanGo advertising data.
The report said the local ad market continued to post steady growth in 2026, supported by a recovery in local consumer spending and a sustained increase in visitor arrivals to Hong Kong. It added that despite tensions in the Middle East pushing up energy prices and creating uncertainty for the global economic outlook, advertising spending in the city remained stable.
